Framing Up My Time at Laut Design

At the end of June, I wrapped up my last days at Laut Design after 3 years of growth, challenges, fun, and countless memories. I'll forever be thankful for the learning and experiences this place gave me, and I'll greatly miss the resources, support, and people who encouraged me both in my work and on my own personal projects.

I hope to share more about my experience over the last three years soon, but for now I want to highlight one of my favorite parts.

One thing that was evident from the day I started—and continued to be one of Laut's greatest strengths—was the effort put into team culture. Every month we'd gather together and share words of affirmation through the lens of our core values (listed on the shirt below), celebrating hard work, good moments, and so many things that often go unspoken.

I held onto every nomination that was given to me, alongside the kind words given to me on my last day, and framed it for me to be able to hold onto for years to come.

Finished framed piece. The core value nominations are stacked by name with my favorite by each person on the top!

As I move on to what's next, I hope to continue to seek out, and help create, places where we can celebrate each other and be people first.

Thank you, Laut Design.

The back of the shirt I made on the last few days I was there that shows the core values we had at Laut Design
